With 8,500 miles of underground pipelines crisscrossing Divide County, said Bob Wetzler, it’s not “if” an incident will occur; it’s “when.”
How first responders deal with those incidents is critical, said Wetzler, who spent 29 years with the Minot Rural Fire Department.
It’s important not only for the public’s safety, but for the safety of responders, too.
“Emergency services is interesting because you never stop training,” Wetzler said.
