Rural residents thankful for white shirts and clear water as R&T turns on new water lines

Rural residents around Tioga are thankful this year for a new water supply to their properties. R&T recently completed a number of new water lines that give farmers and ranchers access to a more reliable source of water.


“We were on our third well,” said Mark Schmidt, who lives north of Tioga. “We struggled to maintain our water supply with the wells.”


“The grandkids were happy to run through the sprinkler and take longer showers,” said Harla Anderson, from south of town. “There was nothing worse than running out of water.”


Both the Anderson and the Schmidt families received the piping infrastructure to their properties this year after years of planning by R&T to bring consistent water supplies to the area.
