Annual Halloween party plans to be a screaming time for kids

The Farm Festival Building will open its doors to the annual gathering of ghosts, ghouls, vampires, superheroes and just about any character you can imagine this Sunday for the 25th Annual Tioga Community Halloween Party.


“I love Halloween,” said planner Gail Haakenson. “We want kids to have fun memories like we had.”


Haakenson and friend, Norma Brilz, have been planning the party in Tioga for 25 years.


In that time they’ve grown to take in nearly a thousand guests each year, from communities as far away as Minot and Williston.
