Tiny house has room for what is important

An interesting phenomenon occurs after you spend a little time in Crosby’s first tiny house. It begins to expand -- if not physically, conceptually.

Crosby native Holly Anderson is at home here. It’s the first home she’s ever owned.

Just 16 feet by 18 feet, it has everything a bigger house contains -- and also, less.

“I’ve been getting rid of things for years,” she says, in preparation for making the move that finally came Oct. 28. “I wanted to get rid of stuff because I want to live my life and I don’t want my life to live me. I don’t want my life to be about what I have.”
