Divide County is getting a heavy dose of theater this month, and not just from the annual Northwest Cameo Players dinner production, held last weekend in Noonan.
Also last week, the budding Divide County High School drama club performed its second annual spring play. Now, this week, the Missoula Children’s Theatre is in Crosby to stage “Cinderella” with a group of Divide County elementary students.
“There’s always a lot of excitement for it,” said Tanja Brown, elementary principal, of the Missoula show. “Even during signups, I see parents here trying to encourage their kids to sign up.”
Rehearsals just began Monday, and yet by Saturday, two performances of “Cinderella” will take place in the high school auditorium, at 2 and 4 p.m. A free-will donation is requested at the door.
