Some of the winners at this year’s state FBLA Leadership Conference weren’t even born when Divide County High School brought home its first Top Chapter award.
“Our class, we were pretty sure we were going to get it because of how much each one of us brings to the table,” said Chapter President Joran Oien.
Current members found excruciating, nonetheless, the wait for the announcement of results last week in Bismarck.
“It wasn’t like they were taking anything for granted,” said Sherlock Hirning, district superintendent and a judge for some of the events.
