Some “harmless family fun” in Crosby has people painting rocks with colorful designs, hiding them around town, searching for other people’s deposits, then posting their discoveries on social media.
Crosby ROCKS was started locally by resident Rachel Imlay, after friends in her home area of Springfield, Ill., began to rave about how much their children enjoyed a similar effort in their town.
Minot, Williston and Tioga are a few of the North Dakota towns who already have such groups.
After initially being invited to join a group in Burke County, Imlay decided Crosby needed a group of its own.
